Shelf life of our products

Each product has its recommend shelf life upon opening, typically ranging between 6-12 months. A products shelf life is identified by the PAO symbol on the back/underneath of each packaging. Beyond the shelf life, the products won’t necessarily go bad, however, the potency will not be as effective. Our products have all been tested for a shelf life of 3 years unopened. If you find that your product has an unusual smell or if you see discoloration, do not be alarmed; our natural formulas are delicate and can be affected by exposure to air and other contaminants. These instances are rare and we will be happy to replace your product.

Storage recommendations

Since all of our skincare and cosmetic products use highly active, natural ingredients, we recommend that you store your favorite Villa Floriani products in a cool, dark place to maintain its potency. All of our products have been 'challenge' tested and can withstand significant thermal fluctuations.
